Poppy Day Spa has
been created within the luxurious grounds of Hazlewood Castle to provide a
soothing escape from the physical and emotional stresses that are often viewed
as the necessary evils of modern life where we can administer soothing and
revitalising treatments for the body, mind and soul.
A selected menu of spa packages has been specifically designed to complement
our services ranging from relaxing facials, deluxe manicures to massage.
To complete your pampering experience, our hairdressing salon offers a full
range of cutting and colouring services.
All of the products used throughout our treatments are available to purchase
for continuing the feeling of wellbeing and include ranges from md formulations
skin care, Bare Escentuals mineral make-up, SpaRitual and Creative hand and
nail products, massage oils, ghd thermodynamics for hair and Fake
Bake Gold self tanning lotions.
If it is your first time at Poppy
you may feel nervous or uncomfortable because you don't know what to expect. Please
do not worry as we are here to answer any questions you may have.
On arrival you will
be asked to complete a medical questionnaire. Before carrying out certain
treatments it is important that the therapist knows if you have undergone
recent surgery, have high blood pressure, any allergies or a heart condition.
They will also need to know if you are pregnant, have varicose veins or any
other condition which may impact on your health. If you are taking medication, have recently
had any operations or illness or have a medical condition, it is advisable that
you consult your doctor before booking treatments. If you have any medical
problems please let us know at the time of booking so that we can ensure that
the treatments are appropriate for your condition. All treatments are booked subject to
medical status. If you fail to notify us prior to your arrival of a medical
condition that prevents you from having your treatments a charge may be levied
and you may not be able to participate.
Please always endeavour to arrive
on time or early, if you are late your treatment time may be shortened or may
not be honoured.
Depending upon what treatments
you are having, you may be asked to undress. You normally keep your underwear
on unless asked to remove it and if that is the case the therapist will give
you disposable briefs. Please bear in mind that you do not have to do anything
you are uncomfortable with, so please talk to your therapist. Bathrobes and a
generous supply of towels and slippers are provided for your use and during
your treatment you are always partially covered by towels or a blanket. Your
privacy is respected at all times.
If possible please leave your
jewellery at home. If you do take any jewellery with you ensure that you keep
it securely locked in your locker.
Please also ensure that mobile telephones are switched off when you
arrive at Reception.

A relaxing and
luxurious exfoliator with real choc pieces is used to gently buff away dead
skin cells. The body is then completely
coated in a warm chocolate mousse, improving circulation and skin texture
whilst releasing all those ‘feel good’ endorphins! Once the wrap is removed you will enjoy a
milky cream massage.
White Pearly Body Envelopment - £60
Commence with a
full body exfoliation using crystals of pearl powder to remove dead skin
cells. This is then followed by a shimmering
white pearl mask to help elasticity, hydration and firmness whilst heated
pindas are used to ease away tensions from the scalp, face and feet. Once the wrap is removed with heated towels
the body is treated to a full body massage with magic pearly lotion enriched
with exquisite shimmer to awaken any skin.

Vouchers make an ideal gift for any occasion.
Vouchers may be purchased for individual treatments, pamper days, retail
products or monetary value. These may be
purchased in person or over the phone on 01937 832652, please have your credit
card details to hand. All vouchers are
valid for six months from date of issue, however, if you are unable to redeem
your voucher within this timescale please contact us and we will arrange an
extension for you at no extra charge.

non-refundable.
Reservations
Pamper Days: a
50% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance payable on
arrival.
Treatment Bookings: For any treatments over 60 minutes, credit
card details are taken to guarantee bookings.
