Masterclass: FAQS

1. What can we
expect in a Masterclass?
The Masterclass is for those who are passionate about cooking
to join in some culinary fun for an afternoon, though participation
is not compulsory. The session is held in the very kitchens
of Hazlewood Castle, where it all happens hands on.
2. What is the
format of the afternoon?
Champagne reception.
3 course luncheon in the Restaurant.
2 hour Masterclass in the Castle kitchens.

3. Is any previous experience
required?
None at all - simply an interest in food!
4. What do we need to
bring with us?
Just yourselves, as all equipment and aprons are provided.
5. Can we taste the
dishes which are produced?
Yes, you can!
6. Do we get a copy
of the recipes to take home?
Yes, you do!
7. Will the recipes
work at home?
Yes, they have been tried and tested by our Home Economist. Remember,
participation will give you a head start on this one.
8. What is the maximum
number of people that can attend a Masterclass?
We can take ten people for these sessions to ensure sufficient
guidance and safety in the working kitchens.
9. How much does the
Masterclass cost?
This hands on session with expert tuition and yummy lunch costs
£99.00 per person.
10. Can a Masterclass
be booked exclusively?
Yes, it can. We can arrange bespoke courses on
request, tackling a specific subject.
11. Are different dishes
demonstrated throughout the year?
Yes, the recipes change regularly, with sensitivity towards
seasonal produce practicality.
12. How often do Masterclass
courses run?
We run these sessions three to four times a month.
13. How do we obtain
dates and availability?
Simply call reservations on 01937 535353 who will offer more
information and take bookings or visit our website.
14. If we stay at Hazlewood
Castle before or after a Masterclass, is there a reduced bedroom
rate
Yes there is. The rates are £115.00 for a single room
including breakfast and £130.00 for a double room including
breakfast (subject to availability).
15. If we have booked
a place on a session and are unable to attend, can we obtain a refund?
You will be offered a place on a future session (date of your
choice, subject to availability) or a full refund, provided 14 days
notice is given. |
