Hazlewood Castle announces the appointment of the new General Manager.

Mark Booth has joined the prestigious Hazlewood Castle Hotel as General Manager. Mark was formerly General Manager of Brooklands Hotel in Barnsley, the Yorkshire Tourist Board's Hotel of the Year 2005. Previously he has managed properties for Marriott, Swallow and Virgin hotels in the North of England.

Mark, a Yorkshire man born and bred said: "I am delighted to be joining such a wonderful hotel. Hazlewood is a great property with lots of potential, and I look forward to taking up the challenge."

Managing Director, Brian Walker was equally delighted with the appointment saying: "we are confident that Mark will do well in what is a very responsible position. He has some great ideas to bring to the post and I'm sure guests and clients, old and new, will be reassured of a continued, excellent service."
