Clay Pigeon Shooting - a day of excitement set in the grounds of Hazlewood Castle.

A unique opportunity to meet with your friends and colleagues to test your skill with a sporting shotgun.

Start your day with breakfast in The Shooting Lodge. This gives time for your guests to arrive and make themselves comfortable before the fun begins.

After some practice shots with tuition at clay targets, we will then take a break.

The Running Rabbit
Not the watership down bunny! Our target is a four inch disc propelled along the ground at a ballistic bunny speed – great fun.

The Drive
This clay target is thrown from the front. We recommend our “Blind Panic” technique. Very entertaining, especially for the audience. Don’t laugh, you’re next!

Springing Teal
It’s not a teal and it has no springs, but on your call it will fly almost vertically to 60 feet. Testing but intriguing.

The Crosser
A standard clay thrown left or right is called a crosser, because the more that people miss it, the crosser they get. We will show you how it’s done.

The Overhead Clay
Thrown from behind the shooter. Sometimes described as the dropper because that’s what happens to your jaw when you see it – super fun.
