Breakfast is served from 7.00-9.30am on Weekdays and 7.30-10am on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays

We offer a special Scones, Toasts and Breads menu from 10am until 6pm when you might want to call in to linger over a coffee and have a small snack.
Our lunchtime menu, available from ’12 noon – 2.30pm’ weekdays and from 12.00noon until 3.00pm on Sundays, offers a selection of dishes which are individually priced for ultimate freedom of choice.
In the evenings from 6pm until 9.30pm our dinner menu offers an a la carte dinner menu which changes on a regular basis with 'daily specials' and our Classic combinations.
We have a beautiful patio area immediately outside Vavasour where you are welcome to sit and enjoy our gardens - even if it's a bit chilly it's a lovely place to take time out.

FROM THE GRILL
All of our steaks are cut from Grand Reserve Beef which is raised only on North Yorkshire Farms which conform to the highest standards of welfare and practices. The cattle are selected from suckler herds, naturally grazed and then dry aged for maximum tenderness and flavour.
All of our poultry is sourced from T Soanes of Yorkshire and is all free range and grain fed.

Chefs Cheese Board
English cheeses are amongst the finest in the world. For your enjoyment we have sourced the following from small family producers.
Served with Local Hawthorne Berry Chutney, Fruit Cake, Grapes, Celery & Biscuits.
Bosworth Ash – A smooth and creamy goats cheese, with a clean taste with lemon and nutty notes.
Cumberland Smoked – A minimum of 3 month aged hard vegetarian cheese, the cheese is smoked over oak giving the cheese a subtle smoked flavour.
Dunsyre Blue – An unpasteurised cows milk of the Ayshire Cattle from the Clyde Valley region. This vegetarian cheese has a mild, almost sweet taste with a spicy blue bite in the after taste.
Flower Marie – A soft ewes milk vegetarian cheese with a delicate, creamy and soft texture. It has a subtle flavour of herbs with a slight sweet lemony taste.
Isle of Mull – A mellow cheese, creamy in texture from a small producer in the Scottish Isles.
