The Great Hall

This spectacular, South-facing room, overlooking the stunning view of Towton Moor, is Medieval at its boldest with classical inspiration.

Great columns, a marble fireplace, alcoves framing large statues and a high ceiling where oval medallions decorated with over fifty coats of armour encircle the room; all this makes for a day in history with your event in the Great Hall.

The State Drawing Room

Situated to the West of the Castle, this room combines grandeur with intimacy with its Adamesque decorations and a magnificent crystal chandelier.

The State Drawing Room is perfect for your meeting or private dinner party.

HAZLE-BOARD-ROOM

Hazlewood Boardroom

Situated in the far South-West of the Castle, the Hazlewood Boardroom boasts double aspect windows each with views across the parkland at Hazlewood. 

Complete with a solid oak boardroom table and luxury leather chairs to match, the Boardroom is perfect for executive meetings or interviews.

The Old Dining Room

East of the great hall, the immense natural daylight, exquisite fireplace and Adam's work frieze and ceiling dominate this room.

The elegance of the Old Dining Room enhances any private dining events, board meetings.

The Chapel

Built in 1286, St Leonards Chapel is situated to the east of the Castle, complete with a Palladian altar piece, fine fretwork and glass decorated with symbols of passion.

The chapel offers an ambience conducive to larger theatre style seminars with excellent acoustics and a gallery, also your perfect setting for musical concerts.

Victoria Room

One of the oldest rooms in the Castle is the Victoria Room, the walls of which were reduced from seven feet thick to a mere three and a half. 

Complete with a cosy hooded fireplace and wallpaper originally commissioned by Prince Albert in 1851. This room offers natural daylight and is great for small special events or private board meetings.
